Great success of the event THE FRONTIERS OF SUSTAINABLE ART. PAOLA GIORDANO, METROPOLITAN VISIONS ACROSS LIFE AND ART (Milan, Apr. 10, 2019)

Apr. 10, 2019 - Great success of the exhibition/event entitled "The Frontiers of Sustainable Art. Paola Giordano, Metropolitan Visions across Life and Art", conceived and curated by Marco Eugenio Di Giandomenico. It's promoted by the the Municipality of Milan and by the Milan Design Week 2019, and organized by the ETHICANDO Association (www.ethicando.it) and the ARD&NT Institute (Milan Brera Academy and Milan Polytechnic) (www.ardent-institute.it) with the support of the communication platform Betting on Italy (BOI) at the Palazzo Marino (Sala Alessi and Sala degli Arazzi) in Milan.
The aim is to analyze some aspects of the contemporary sustainable art, with a focus on design.
The central moment of the event is the presentation of Paola Giordano artworks, that are exhibited during the day in the Sala Alessi and in the Sala degli Arazzi at the Palazzo Marino, including "Quo vadis", about 5 meters long and 3 meters high, part of the traveling exhibition "Our place in space", promoted by the NASA and the ESA, with various exhibition moments in Italy and abroad from 2017.
Several institutional and cultural personalities present at the event, including, in addition to the sustainable critic and economist Marco Eugenio Di Giandomenico (exhibit curator), Roberto Favaro, well-known musicologist and deputy director of the Brera Acacdemy, as well as director of master SOUNDART and president of the ARD&NT Institute, Angelo Turco, President of the Culture Commission of the Municipality of Milan, Filippo Barberis, Vice President of the International Affairs Committee of the Municipality of Milan, Martina Corgnati, professor of art history and dean of the Communication and Edicational Department of the Brera Acadedmy, Andrea Bosco, journalist and writer, Francesca Bertolotto, professor of public relations at the Brera Academy, Maria Giovanna Farina, philosopher and writer, Daniela Azzola Farinotti, journalist, Giovanni Zullo, food & drink columnist, Roberto Presicci, professor of theory and method of the mass media at the Kandisnkij Academy in Trapani, Stefano Bondioli, film producer, Francesco Martelli, director of the Citadel of the Archives of the Municipality of Milan, Augusto De Marsanich, known gallerist, Pietro Finelli, artist, the brothers Marco and Alessandro Mantovani of Stradedarts.
In the afternoon the musical performance of Danila Musikhin who plays with the clarinet some famous cinematographic soundtracks inspired by the Paola Giordano artworks.
