Cinema Promotion Award to Paolo Del Brocco

On Wednesday, March 4, 2026, at the Chamber of Deputies, the award ceremony for the 2026 CINEMA PROMOTION AWARD was held with great success, presented to Paolo Del Brocco for his prestigious career as a promoter of cinematographic art.

On Wednesday, March 4, 2026, at the Chamber of Deputies, as part of the third edition of the #SUSTART (SUSTART 2026), under the artistic and scientific direction of Milanese art critic #MarcoEugenioDiGiandomenico, the award ceremony for the 2026 CINEMA PROMOTION AWARD was held with great success, presented to #PaoloDelBrocco for his prestigious career as a promoter of cinematographic art.

The award was presented by Mauro D'Attis (member of the Fifth Budget Committee of the Chamber of Deputies) and Enrico Bufalini (director of Cinecittà Holding Spa).

The award (CPA), under the artistic direction of Marco Eugenio Di Giandomenico and Stefania Altavilla, organized by the Ethicando Association of Milan and the A. R.C.A. Association of Syracuse, with Pupi Avati as honorary president, aims to recognize personalities from the world of institutions, professions, and the Italian and foreign film and television industry who have distinguished themselves in the promotion of films, documentaries, and short films.

In 2025, Laura Delli Colli was awarded the prize.

The artist Stefania Midolo (Midolo Gioielli di Ortigia-SR) has been selected once again to create the award for the 2026 edition.

Among the personalities present at the award ceremony were Nicola Claudio (president of Rai Cinema), Anthony Lamolinara (director; Oscar winner for Spiderman 2), Guido De Angelis (musician, film and television producer), and Franco Nero (actor).

The award ceremony is the highlight of the international forum on the sustainability of art and culture (SUSTART 2026), during which there will also be an exhibition of sculptures by Maria Cristina Carlini, creator of outstanding works of art on permanent display in museums and monuments in Italy and abroad.

The forum, organized by Ethicando Association of Milan, patronized by the Ministry of Enterprise and Made in Italy and various public and private entities, is promoted by Betting On Italy, Estro Digitale, and Beesness Magazine. During the event, the Cinema Promotion Award dedicated to Adriano Pintaldi (honorary president: Pupi Avati ; jury president: Marco Eugenio Di Giandomenico ) will be presented to Paolo Del Brocco , CEO of Rai Cinema. This award is organized by the Ethicando Association and the ARCA Siracusa Association, chaired by Stefania Altavilla . The award is created by the goldsmith Stefania Midolo .

AN EXHIBITION, A FILM, A BOOK, organized by the Ethicando Association of Milan (www.ethicando.it), in collaboration with the Antonietta Viganone ETS Foundation and the Braidense National Library, with artistic curation by Marco Eugenio Di Giandomenico, will be inaugurated.

Until January 22, 2026, artist's books (mostly published by Franco Sciardelli, the artist's life partner) and about 30 original engravings by Antonietta Viganone will be exhibited.

During the exhibition opening (November 20, 2025), which will take place in the Reading Room/Theology Room of the Braidense National Library, the documentary film entitled “Antonietta Viganone tra vita e arte” (Antonietta Viganone, life and art) will be presented and screened. It was written by Marco Eugenio Di Giandomenico and Alberto Osella, directed by Alberto Osella, produced by ABOUT A FILM, with cinematography by Filippo Corbetta and editing by Riccardo Banfi.

On the closing day of the exhibition (January 22, 2026), in the Aldo Bassetti Room of the Pinacoteca di Brera, a monograph entitled “Antonietta Viganone”, edited by Marco Eugenio Di Giandomenico and published by Silvana Editoriale, will be presented.

The initiative, patronized by the Municipality of Milan (p.a.), Municipality 1 of the Municipality of Milan, and the Cento Amici del Libro association, with media support from Betting On Italy and Estro Digitale, has an important impact on the Milanese and ultra-Milanese territory. In fact, the promotion of artistic production by Antonietta Viganone, which focuses on her engraving work, largely produced for the creation of artist's books together with leading figures in Italian literature (including Leonardo Sciascia), almost all published by her life partner Franco Sciardelli, provides an opportunity to explore the contemporary art scene of the 1960s, 1970s, and 1980s in the Brera district of Milan. Franco Sciardelli, publisher and printer, was, in fact, a point of reference for many Milanese artists (and others) in the second half of the last century, who frequented the Brera district for various reasons, including in connection with the activities of the Academy of Fine Arts and the Brera Pinacoteca.

10th Edition of the Tonino Accolla Euromed Festival 2025

From June 26 to 29, 2025, the 10th edition of the Euromed Festival Tonino Accolla 2025 will take place in Noto and Syracuse, organized by A.R.C.A. Siracusa, with artistic direction by Stefania Altavilla, assisted by Carola Mandalari and Lorenzo Accolla, and with the support and patronage of various public and private entities.

On the evening of Thursday, June 26, 2025, at the former Cassonello Barracks in Noto, the 10th edition of the Euromed Festival Tonino Accolla 2025 will be inaugurated, organized by A.R.C.A. Siracusa, with artistic direction by Stefania Altavilla, assisted by Carola Mandalari and Lorenzo Accolla, and with the support and patronage of various public and private entities. The opening night will begin with a string concert by the Montalbano Quartet of Palermo, featuring music by renowned film composer Hans Zimmer.

The festival, hosted by Maurizio Merluzzo, assisted by Riccardo Suarez, will take place in Piazza Minerva in Syracuse on Friday, June 27, and Saturday, June 28, with the traditional live contest for young talents from national dubbing schools, and again in Noto, in the former Cassonello Barracks, on Sunday, June 29, with an international workshop on “Economy and culture, inclusive opportunities for territorial development.” The workshop is scientifically directed by economist Santi Tomaselli.

The program for the various days is quite full of activities involving various personalities from the world of institutions, cinema, art, and culture, including those from overseas.

During the opening evening, the jury (chaired by art critic Marco Eugenio Di Giandomenico) will officially announce the winner of the Cinema Promotion Award (1st edition), dedicated to Adriano Pintaldi and chaired by director Pupi Avati (honorary president). The award ceremony will take place in Parliament in Rome in the fall of this year.

The driving force behind this edition continues, in the wake of the previous one, to

raise awareness among the younger generations on crucial issues such as the environment and

social inclusion, using the universal and incisive language of cinema and

dubbing, at the center of the European institutional debate. In this context, recognition is given to the famous Milanese poodle Wally Taylor, awarded the Palm Dog by Quentin Tarantino at the 2019 Cannes Film Festival.

The festival is assisted by two exceptional juries, the technical jury, chaired by actor and voice actor Fabrizio Pucci, and the critics and press jury, chaired by Milanese art critic Marco Eugenio Di Giandomenico.

For the 10th edition of the Tonino Accolla Award, the lifetime achievement award is presented to Fabrizio Pucci, and the excellence awards to Alessandro Campaiola Ward, Federico Campaiola Ward, Benedetta Degli Innocenti, and Francesca Manicone.

Based on the results of the judging panels and the audience involved, the following Tonino Accolla awards will be presented at the live contest on June 28, 2025: best female performer, best male performer, press award, and audience award.

Among the various special guests, Alex Poli will present “Film senza Immagini” (a project created with Voci.fm), and Francesca Bochicchio, director of the documentary film “Io Salvatore – AI Revolution,” which will be screened and awarded on the final evening of the festival.

THE THREE DAMES BY LEONARDO is a literary work that includes four fantasy tales and some illustrations by Zoè (deliberately anonymous contemporary author), where the protagonists are Leonardo da Vinci, and Guinevere, Cecilia and Monna Lisa – the three dames depicted in his unrivalled canvasses.

The stories are steeped with emotions, small twists and turns, and naturalistic and social contexts almost reminiscent of Edmondo De Amicis' 'Cuore' (‘Heart’). They can all be read in one go, leaving the reader with a sense of hope and serenity: a sort of counterbalance to the frenetic and desertifying pace of contemporary society.

The tales by Zoè are for anyone above 12 years of age; they are a breath of fresh air; they dust off our deepest human identity and are almost therapeutic for those who seek the silence necessary to listen to the voice of our ancestral Self ...".

From March 31 to April 5, 2025 Ethicando Association is organizing the SUART 2025 event at the Fabbrica del Vapore in Milan, with the artistic curatorship of Marco Eugenio Di Giandomenico (Milan ARTWEEK event)

SuART is an international event of an interdisciplinary scientific, institutional and artistic nature, conceived by art critic Marco Eugenio Di Giandomenico . It consists of a conference and a solo exhibition by a contemporary artist.

The 2024 edition was successfully held in Madrid, at the Universidad Pontificia Comillas , with the solo exhibition by artist Antonietta Viganone.

Artist Tiziano Calcari was selected for the 2025 edition, exhibiting No. 48 works of art, exemplifying his path of artistic evolution.

SUART 2025 is organized by Ethicando Association (www.ethicando.it), in collaboration with Grow in Art Aps, Comillas Pontifical University in Madrid (ICADE), University of Milan (Department of Private Law and History of Law), University of Florence (Department of Legal Sciences).

SUART 2025 is patronized by the Municipality of Milan and has been selected as an event of MILAN ARTWEEK 2025.

In an attempt to delineate the different declinations of the notion of "art sustainability," which is constantly evolving semiologically and increasingly the subject of attention in the last two decades by institutions, philosophers, sociologists, academics, sector professionals and artists, a twofold objective is pursued. On the one hand, we want to investigate the creative languages and promotional modes of contemporary art productions in the digital age, both public (museums, governmental and local cultural institutions, etc.) and private (galleries, private art foundations, auction houses, web system, etc.). On the other hand, we want to highlight and analyze the related aspects of legal regulation and economic-financial dynamics by taking the EU guidelines as a basis with a focus on the legal systems of the countries of the participating university/institutional partners. On Thursday, March 27, 2025, 6:30-8:30 p.m., at Ethicando Gallery, Viale Luigi Maino No. 38 - 20129 Milan, the opening of the solo exhibition entitled (UN)TITLED by artist Millo Galante takes place under the curatorship of art critic Marco Eugenio Di Giandomenico. The exhibition, which enjoys the media promotion of Betting On Italy (BOI) and Estro Digitale, is part of the exhibition initiatives organized by the Ethicando Association as part of the scientific commission "Emerging Artists" dedicated to the selection and promotion of talented artists entering the world of contemporary art.

Marcello Gallimberti, aka Millo Galante, pointed out by public relations expert Giovanna Repossi, is a university student in his fourth year of medicine, who has always been dedicated to the production of artistic works with already three solo exhibitions to his credit (Padua and Milan).

His creative fire, in fact, emerges as early as adolescence when he starts "presenting the thoughts and visions that inhabit him" (these are his words) thanks to the camera, which becomes the primary tool to produce works in which the image is part of an installation in which some photographic details are transformed into physical components.

In 2018 Galante initiated the MoMiGa (Madness of Millo Galante) project, where the "completion" of each work occurs with the user's free and anonymous attribution of the title. The titles collected in each exhibition (more than 5 thousand in the first two exhibitions) are epilogized in a digital catalog published online. The titles represent the viewer's aesthetic feedback and, at the same time, the semiological synthesis of the creative product. The artist's intuition is undoubtedly interesting and shipwrecks in an original multi-voiced narrative in line with the particular creative declination in question.

“ The narrative of the urban social context - comments curator Marco Eugenio Di Giandomenico - constitutes pictorial intent by Paola Giordano even in her most recent artistic production. Her flowers, deformed by the chaos of invisible forces, undergo an increasingly disturbing modulation , emerging a vision of contemporary society progressively darker and hostile to a rebirth that the artist seems unable and unwilling to exclude. Giordano's existential drama does not find a static solution, but rather foundering in the hope of a future salvation, contradicted by a contemporary 'evil' oblivious to humanity's past experiences. Recalling a phrase from a letter by Kafka to Max Brod, what matters is not the visible, but rather to detect the diabolical powers of the future knocking at the door, which, in a sense, are already hic et nunc, though not visible. Flowers by Giordano emerge from a creative de-formation in which those invisible 'devilish powers' are averted in their prospective operation; they constitute, in short, a sort of saving arm from the quicksand of the miseries of contemporary society, dominated by the vacuity of digital hyper-communication aimed at the exclusive reception of consent (like/don't like), as Byung-Chul Han would say, as well as by selfishness and overpowering that are unfortunately timeless in human history ”.

“Model in the Village” is a 2024 artwork by Tiziano Calcari.

The work is perfectly preserved.

The subject is a model arriving in the inland village of Brescia. The female figure is gigantic between a tree and the hamlet.
The aesthetic canon is the same as in the works of the last fifteen years by Calcari, in which situations of childhood and adolescence in Val Trompia in the Brescia area are vague. Such situations are sometimes lived and remembered, sometimes only dreamed or imagined.

“ Artistic artifact by Ennio Airaghi - comments art critic Marco Eugenio Di Giandomenico - constitutes an extension of a ray of the earth’s planet perpendicular to the horizon. It is a kind of totemic presence that entertains an osmotic dialogue, so to speak, with human beings, where the axes of one and the others, which begin at the center of the earth, ‘go to reach the heavens,’ as Charles Blanc would say.

Airaghi investigates an ancestral memory that rests in every animate and inanimate being on the planet. Each piece of the mosaic, which makes up the overall fabric of existence, has within itself the global ontological code. The art by Guido De Angelis between music, cinema, writing and more', under the artistic and scientific curatorship of Marco Eugenio Di Giandomenico .

The book by Guido De Angelis entitled ' IL SOGNATORE. Io, gli Oliver Onions e tutta una vita ', published by Mondadori Editore (2023), was presented.

The initiative was a tribute to the artist Guido De Angelis, who in the 1970s founded the musical duo Oliver Onions with his brother Maurizio, known to the general public for the creation of successful soundtracks, as well as producing numerous films and TV dramas of considerable media success.

The event was attended by various personalities from the world of institutions, culture and art, including: Sen. The art exhibition, which lasts until 30 November 2021, includes 12 photographic works on food, obtained through the original visual transliteration technique, which for more than a decade has been the focus of creative research of the well-known Piedmontese photographer.

The charming INTOMILAN ApARThotel, consisting of elegant suites inspired by design from the most beautiful locations in the Lombard capital (Porta Venezia, Navigli, Brera, Tortona, etc.), becomes an exhibition venue for works of art, with particular attention to the young artists of the Brera Academy circuit.

Roberto Rosso, with his exhibition, inaugurates an interesting partnership between the Master L'ALTRA FOTOGRAFIA, which he directs, and the Milanese hotel, which is embodied not only in the promotion of the students' photographic works, but also in the use of the sought-after suites as a set of didactic photographic workshops.

Monday 3 August 2020, starting at 19:00, the inauguration of the sole exhibition of the artist SANTI SINDONI entitled ESCATOMATERIA takes place at the Bassi Ducezio exhibition, via Silvio Spaventa in Noto (Syracuse) with the patronage of the UNESCO, the Sicily Region, the ARD&NT Institute (Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera and Politecnico di Milano), the ETHICANDO Association in Milan, the FIAS (Fondazione Internazionale Assistenza Sociale).

The artistic curator is Marco Eugenio Di Giandomenico.

The exhibition, which runs until 10 September 2020, is organized by the ARTE' Foundation in Milan in collaboration with the Municipality of Noto, and promoted by the international communication platform Betting On Italy (BOI).

It includes about 30 artworks that reconstruct the artistic career of SINDONI, with a section dedicated to the "Portrait of the Cell", characterizing his most recent creative production.

During the inauguration, the presentation of the "ARTE'park" project idea is planned. It's a new architectural installation of significant dimensions which will be built in the territories of the Vallo di Noto in Siracusa.

Marco Eugenio Di Giandomenico , taking inspiration from Prati's tragic work, tells how Oreste after becoming a mannequin by Giorgio de Chirico in the twentieth century, leaves the island of the dead by Arnold Böcklin, where he is forced to find refuge (which seemed definitive ) in the 21st century due to the discovery of the Internet.

Emanuele Torreggiani composes poetic verses on Oreste's dance in tragedy.

Christina Magnanelli Weitensfelder designs each page of the book, as if they were paintings by a painter.

It is a literary work imbued with lyrical inspirations, which arises from the (non-)casual encounter of people who seek Beauty, at any cost, in any situation.

Thursday 7 November 2019, 3.00 pm - 4.30 pm, the ARD&NT Institute (Brera Academy of Fine Arts and Milan Polytechnic) (www.ardent-institute.it) and the ETHICANDO Association (www.ethicando.it ), at the Church of San Carpoforo of the Academy of Fine Arts of Brera, at 14, Marco Formentini street in Milan, organize an event on the dialogue between the creative languages of contemporary art in the era of new technologies, with a focus on food (especially pizza) and music.

Two case histories of excellence selected for the event.

The pizza Neapolitan artist, Giuseppe Maglione , owner of Daniele Gourmet in Avellino, grandson of Anna Daniele (who in 1965 inaugurated a famous pizzeria in the center of Naples), today among the best creative expressions of the culinary art. His pizzas use the best ingredients of Irpinia, becoming an instrument of territorial enhancement, as well as other products of excellence made in Italy (flour and others), acquiring an aesthetic connotation so to speak "sustainable", both for the Beauty of gastronomic artifacts in themselves, both for social messages (defense of women's rights, promotion of peace, etc.).

The Molino Pasini company from Mantua, represented by Gianluca Pasini , with almost one hundred years of history, which has been able to interpret the values and konw-how of the ancient millers in the age of new technologies, with a wise selection of grains and others raw materials, enhancing a multi-millennial Italian artisan heritage of the art of flour that represents one of the best expressions of made in Italy in the world.

The event also includes the musical performance of a talented student of the SOUNDART master of the ARD&NT Institute, Mariusphere , who performs some pieces using a piano "set" for the occasion, with kitchen utensils inserted between the strings, producing loudness and rhythmic suggestions in creative dialogue with the art of food, the cultural leitmotiv of the initiative.

During the event is presented the book " L’estro del Gusto. Giuseppe Maglione, artista della pizza sostenibile ", edited by Apeiron Edizioni (Naples, 2019), curated by the sustainable art critic Marco Eugenio Di Giandomenico , in which also participate as authors Gianluca Festa (Mayor of the Municipality of Avellino), Pasquale Giuditta ( formerly Director of the Ministry of Agriculture, Responsible for relations with UNESCO), Roberto Favaro (Professor of History of Music and deputy director of the Academy of Fine Arts of Brera), Roberto Rosso (Professor of Photography at the Academy of Fine Arts di Brera), Filippo Cannata (lighting designer).

Great success of the 10th edition of the Gran Galà della Moda at the Politeama Garibaldi theater in Palermo

On Sunday 5 May 2019, at the Politeama Garibaldi Theater in Palermo, the 10th edition of the Gran Galà della Moda was held, organized by Fashion Models Group of Luca Rasa and Alessia Fortino.

Under the conduction of Sara Priolo on the catwalk the collections of various designers and fashion companies operating in Italy and abroad.

The evening took place in style with the red carpet at the entrance of the Politeama and with an external television set led by Daniele Puccia and Giusy Randazzo. Godmother of the event was Mercedes Henger, leading influencer of international media, daughter of Eva Henger and Riccardo Schicchi, who participated together with the tronista Lucas Peracchi, her life partner too. Among the guests of honor the Milanese writer and fashion critic Marco Eugenio Di Giandomenico, a professor at the Brera Academy of Fine Arts in Milan, awarded by Luca Rasa for his activity as ambassador of Italian fashion in the world.

Several cultural personalities present including Francesco Palmariggi, the young Milanese fashion manager of Lecce origin.

Apr. 10, 2019 - Great success of the exhibition/event entitled "The Frontiers of Sustainable Art. Paola Giordano, Metropolitan Visions across Life and Art", conceived and curated by Marco Eugenio Di Giandomenico. It's promoted by the the Municipality of Milan and by the Milan Design Week 2019, and organized by the ETHICANDO Association (www.ethicando.it) and the ARD&NT Institute (Milan Brera Academy and Milan Polytechnic) (www.ardent-institute.it) with the support of the communication platform Betting on Italy (BOI) at the Palazzo Marino (Sala Alessi and Sala degli Arazzi) in Milan.

The aim is to analyze some aspects of the contemporary sustainable art, with a focus on design.
